BIRD & GAME VIEWING

Lombardini Game farm is a great place for bird watching and wildlife photography, and few areas can provide more unique photography opportunities.

You'll be absolutely fascinated by our abundance of true African wildlife and their majestic surroundings. Our aim is to take game and bird lovers on outings to see as many of our local wildlife as possible. Even the smallest of creatures are worthy photographic subjects.

Game drives depart twice daily, departure times differ depending on the season.

Game to be viewed: White Rhino, Buffalo, Giraffe, Black + Blue Wildebeest, Zebra, Eland, Common Reedbuck, Red Lechwe, Impala, Red Hartebeest, Nyala, Gemsbok, Springbok, White Blesbok, Common Blesbok and Bushbuck.

HORSE SAFARIS

Experience the outdoors as you have never before - on a horseback safaris you will have the unique experience of viewing undisturbed game at close quarters.

  

At Lombardini Game Farm you can enjoy a guided 2 hour horseback safari. You can either choose between a morning or afternoon ride.

Our top priority is the care and well being of our horses. They are well trained, responsive, kind tempered and well mannered. All of them grew up in the bush. Tack is kept in excellent condition to make your ride safe and comfortable. We suggest that you ride with chaps and helmets which are provided.

To explore the farm and enjoy the true splendor of being out in the wilderness, we recommend that you need to be reasonably competent, feel comfortable and secure in the saddle and able to control a horse.
