Cancellation and Booking Policy
PRICES
· All rates quoted are Gross, including VAT of 14% where applicable
and are subject to change without prior notice.
· Rates are quoted per person per night on a fully-inclusive basis
and include accommodation, all meals and local alcoholic beverages
and game drives.
· Rates do NOT include telephone, laundry, Wellness Centre
treatments, shop purchases or gratuities.
- A 50% single supplement ia applicable to single occupants
· A MINIMUM OF TWO NIGHTS MUST BE BOOKED IN HIGH SEASON (one night
STAY at Long Lee Manor DURING LOW SEASON.)
TOURISM LEVY
Included in the rates.
RATES INCLUDE
All meals, accommodation and local alcoholic beverages.
Game drives in open Land Rovers with experienced rangers. Guided
walks.
CHILDREN
Children under seven years are not allowed on game drives.
Children under the age of 12 are
only accepted at Long Lee Manor.
Regret no children under the age
of 12 accepted at Bushmans River, Riverdene and Bayethe.
Regret no children under the age
of 16 accepted at Eagles Crag and Lobengula Lodge.
Children under the age of 3 years
to share with parents at no extra charge, but are not permitted to
join the game drives.
Children aged 3 and less than 7
years old may share with their parents and will be charged 25% of
the Normal rate, which includes meals, beverages and accommodation
but are not permitted to join the game drives.
Children aged 7 and less than 12
years old, either sharing a room with their parents or in separate
room, will be charged 50% of the Normal rate, which includes meals,
accommodation and game drives.
Children aged from 12 years old
will require a separate room at 100 % of the Normal rate
PAYMENT/CANCELLATION
POLICY
Full pre-payment required 30 days prior to arrival.
25% of fee if cancelled less than 30 days prior to arrival.
50% of fee if cancelled less than 14 days prior to arrival.
100% of fee if cancelled less than 7 days prior to arrival.
GROUP BOOKING POLICY
This policy applies to bookings of 10 or more people.
A minimum of a 2 night stay applies throughout the year.
A 50% non-refundable deposit is payable 60 days
prior to arrival.
A 100% non-refundable payment 30 days prior to arrival.
Group bookings for more than 30 guests will receive one
complimentary room subject to availability.
CREDIT CARDS
Amex, Master, Visa and Diners are accepted at the Reserve.
PAYMENT
Full pre-payment prior to clients arrival.

ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE
Oct – Apr - Rooms may be occupied from 14h00 on the day of arrival.
May – Sept – Rooms may be occupied from 13h00 on the day of arrival
in order to accommodate game drives before the early sunset.
Should you not be able to attend lunch on the day of arrival, please
inform reservations accordingly.
Rooms must please be vacated by 11h00 on the day of departure for
the convenience of arriving guests.
Subject to availability, day room rates are available upon request.
TRANSFERS
All transfers are handled by accredited car hire companies. Shamwari
will gladly book these on your behalf at an additional cost.
EXCLUSIVE USE OF LAND
ROVER
R1000.00 per drive. (Depending on availability)
LIQUOR LICENSE
All lodges are fully licensed.
CATERING REQUIREMENTS
Please inform reservations of any special dietary requirements.
WHAT TO TAKE
Shamwari is MALARIA FREE - no tablets/syrup needed. Walking shoes,
sun hats, sunglasses, sun protection cream. Cameras and binoculars.
Warm clothing - anoraks/jerseys for Land Rover trips at all times.
Light clothing and swimming costumes for summer.
CONFERENCES
Formal conference facilities at Long Lee Manor. Conference package
on request. Executive library/boardroom at Eagles Crag.
